Jamey Johnson nominated for 4 CMA Music Awards

Final nominees for the 2009 CMA Music Awards were announced earlier this morning and Jamey Johnson received 4 nominations! Jamey was nominted in the SINGLE OF THE YEAR & SONG OF THE YEAR categories for his hit, "In Color." Jamey was also nominated for NEW ARTIST OF THE YEAR, and his album, That Lonesome Song, was nominated for ALBUM OF THE YEAR. Tune in to watch Country Music's Biggest Night, the 43rd annual CMA Music Awards, airing Wednesday, November 11th at 8/7c on ABC.

Here is some awsome talent-I have seen him in concert twice and hope to see him for a third time on 10-02-09 . I love his music and the atomesphere at his show is awsome. I would like to see this as I do in my mind [ I know -what kinda guy is this] I am a little older than Jamey so I am a little wore down form life-when I listen to his music-I can see myself in a doctors office slowly slipping away,they hook me up to a IV- IN THE BAG FROM WHERE THE IV IS ATTACHED-IS THE LONESOME SONG CD- THE MUSIC FLOWS FROM THE CD DIRECTLY INTO MY ARM AND I START TO REVIVE,AND FEEL BETTER THAN EVER-CRAZY HU? IT WAS IN A DREAM I HAD THE NIGHT AFTER HIS CONCERT AND I swear I do not do drugs!!!!!!!

Regardless of whether he wins those awards--he is a winner in my book--he plays his heart out at every show--he has my award for BEST ARTIST EVER!!

I think that Jamey deserves to win all 4. The awards would be great but I know that to his true fans he has already won thier hearts and loyalties. If you are a fan of real music then you are a fan of Jamey Johnson.

Runnin' And Gunnin'

Just checking in and wanted to update you on what's been going on lately. I've been runnin' and gunnin' since we released the record in August. It's been cool cause I've gotten to meet tons of fans out on the road. In Sept I took the guys to New York City. We did the Imus in the Morning Show and then played a set with the amazing Lee Ann Womack. It was my first time in the city and I loved it. We got a car and headed down to the World Trade Center Site which was mind blowing then we headed to Little Italy for a great dinner. I couldn't get over how many people were in Times Square. Very cool.

After NY we headed to Boston to play Farm Aid. What an honor that was. I got to hang on the bus with Willie Nelson for a while after our set and I had him sign "old Maple". What an awesome day.

We are all over the map these days...I hope to see some of y'all at a show soon. Thanks for all of your great emails and all the support you've shown me. Oh and thanks for the phone messages too, keep them coming at my number (615)823-5592.
