The follow-up album to Johnson’s critically acclaimed That Lonesome Song will hit stores this fall and will also be released on vinyl. “Man, that’s how I listen to music. It’s my favorite, number-one preference at home, to go put a vinyl record on my great grandmother’s old record player. Which reminds me, I need to get somebody to do some maintenance on it. It needs a new needle.”

What a fantastic and beautiful. It brought tears to my eyes. I have both of Jamey's CDs in my car and listen to them constantly. I cannot wait until the next one is released so I can add that one. What took for so long for country music to play his songs? One of Jamey's biggest fans Karen
Jamie, there are so many wonderful things about this song (and all of your songs) that I would like to say but this message area is not large enough. Your song "My way to you" is the best song I have ever heard, I was able to download it from this site (thank you) and I listen to it often. Going down the wrong road, living by the wrong code and chasing after dreams that don't come true is the story of my life! You put so much emotion into it. Your music is true country music. The kind of music that left with Waylon and Willie. The music in this song is perfect, the lyrics are perfect and most of all your voice is perfect! I can not even think of another country music singer that can come close. You have a voice that has captured the attention of many.
All I can say it just "KILLER" Just "KILLER" knockem dead........ Wonderful, spectacular, heaven!!!! You write them we buy them....... Deal??? Deal...
Wow Jamey, way to go man, incredible song! Cowboy and the boys are incredible on the instruments and your vocal performance, especially on the last verse is amazing, incredible heart and soul! With 1 single making the top 10 and the album outselling 95% of the competition, it shows that the fans will still buy real country music. We are going to the September 26 show and cannot wait!
i am looking for any north mississippi or just plain 'ole mississippi fans.....look me up on here and add me as a friend!
The new song is awsome way to go jamey.I hope you come back to WI soon.
This song is beyond great! It is written and arranged perfectly! This follow up song from his Lonesome Song album does not disappoint. It seems to just grab on to you...stirring your emotions and and reliving the lyrics. Since it was released to radio play I have been either calling or instant requesting via internet my local radio station to get it on air....haven't heard it yet. Is anyone else having problems with it getting air time with their local stations? Thanks Jamey!
Hope that the fans on your website will have the pleasure of buying a pre-sale before they go on sale to the general public - and can one of the next on the road videos be with you and the guys in a studio? Much Love from Jedburg, SC
Jamey, the raw emotion and authenticity of your voice and lyrics are so intense, it not only grabs your attention, it grabs your soul. I will never forget the first time I heard In Color I was sitting in my truck and said to myself, "who is THAT'? When I researched you and discovered all of the songs you had written I was thinking why didn't Jamey record all of those songs??? But, being a country music fan from way back, I know the way the Nashville machine works, and I can only say that I am so damn glad to finally have a man in country music that delivers the real goods. I love this new single and I can't wait to buy the CD. I love That Lonesome Song CD. Each song is a memory and I can't wait to hear the new material to add to the collection. I saw you in a very crowded bar in Charlotte NC and even over all of the noise and audience singing, you were amazing and I look forward to hanging out with you again. Hey, darlin, I would love to know the story behind the 2 bit ladies song....you do paint a story. See ya!
